I love providing play therapy to children and working with people from all different walks of life. I began my journey, as a therapist, while working for a non-profit agency that offered therapy primarily to foster children and recipients of Medi-Cal. Next, I began working as Mental Health Intern for Riverside Unified School District, where I provided counseling to children at 5 elementary schools. Currently, I am also a clinician at Valley Star Community Services' Family Resource Center (San Bernardino, CA), where I provide therapy to all ages 4 and up. In 2011, I began serving as an adjunct professor at California Baptist University. I teach courses in Counseling Techniques, Child and Adolescent Techniques, and Play Therapy for Special Populations.
I obtained a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. Following my graduate program, I entered and completed a Play Therapy Certificate Program at University of California, San Diego Extension Center. Also, I am a member of the Association for Play Therapy (California Chapter), as well as, a licensed member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists).
